Parent and Carer Workshops
Every term there are a variety of parent and carers events that give families the opportunity to come into school and meet with teachers and other professionals and parents/carers.
Events are advertised through our school newsletter and on our school calendar.
Upcoming parent/carer workshops:
Tuesday 3 December 9:30-10:30am or 2-3pm - Social Stories
Social Stories are a learning tool within our school. This workshop will help you develop your understanding of what a social story is, how they can support your child, how you can write then and how they can be used outside the school environment.
Monday 16 December 9:30-10:30am Strategies and support for self-regualtion/managing challenging behaviour.
Andrew Reynolds (Pond Meadow regualtion/behaviour lead) will be holding a workshop to offer support and strategies used in school when dealing with regualtion/challenging behaviours.
