Parent and Carer Workshops

Every term there are a variety of parent and carers events that give families the opportunity to come into school and meet with teachers and other professionals and parents/carers.

Events are advertised through our school newsletter and on our school calendar.

Upcoming parent/carer workshops:

Monday 16 December 9:30-10:30am Strategies and support for self-regualtion/managing challenging behaviour.

Andrew Reynolds (Pond Meadow regualtion/behaviour lead) will be holding a workshop to offer support and strategies used in school when dealing with regualtion/challenging behaviours.

Monday 16 December 10:30-11:30am Online Safety

Rosie Flavin (DSL) will be hosting an online safety session to provide parents and carers with information to support their child navigating an online world. Find out information about privacy settings, setting up parental controls and measures you can take to ensure your child is accessing the internet safely. Feel free to bring along your devices if you would like some support setting up privacy and parental controls.

Previous events have included: personal care workshops, support with sleep, online safety training, Pathological Demand Avoidance and transition support.
