Parent and Carer Workshops
Every term there are a variety of parent and carers events that give families the opportunity to come into school and meet with teachers and other professionals and parents/carers.
Events are advertised through our school newsletter and on our school calendar.
Upcoming parent/carer workshops:
Thursday 6 February 12-1pm Online Safety
Rosie Flavin (DSL) will be hosting an online safety session to provide parents and carers with information to support their child navigating an online world. Find out information about privacy settings, setting up parental controls and measures you can take to ensure your child is accessing the internet safely. This will be hels virtually and you will need to follow this link to book your space:
Wednesday 12 February 9:15-11:15am Help your child manage anxiety
Surrey Adult Learning will be delivering a workshop to discuss helping your child manage anxiety. This is being delivered virtually and details on how to book will be added next week.
Thursday 6 March 9:30-10:30am Support with sleep
Sarah Nash (Assistant Head) will be delivering a workshop to discuss the topic of sleep.
Previous events have included: personal care workshops, support with sleep, online safety training, Pathological Demand Avoidance and transition support.
Recent feedback regarding a toilet training workshop delivered by the teaching and school nursing team:
